This Guide will show you how to hide Navigation Bar From EMUI 5.0 and EMUI 5.1. This method working both rooted and non-rooted Huawei and honor device installed EMUI 5.0 and EMUI 5.1 Android 7.0 new updated. Huawei phone has no hardware Navigation Bar the Navigation Bar comes on the screen, its default enabled by Huawei and honor devices. There is another way to you can control the back, home, apps menu by Floating Dock option you can enable it from Setting -> Smart Assistance. But you can’t disable the Navigation Bar from setting you have to do manually and here is the guide. Enable developer options.

Go To Settings -> About Phone -> Tap On “Build Number” 7 Times To Enable Developer Options.

Enable USB Debugging.

Go To Your Settings -> Developer Options -> Tick The “Usb Debugging” Checkbox .

Download and install Huawei Driver from Here.
Download ADB-fastboot-tool from here.
Connect your phone to PC.

First, read Preparation, Unlock Bootloader, Download required files of your device.
Extract “adb-fastboot-tool-2016.zip“.
Rename TWRP recovery IMG file ” TWRP_3.1.1.img ” to ” recovery.img ” and copy to adb-fastboot-tool-2016 Folder.
Open Command Prompt (CMD) windows in adb-fastboot-tool-2016 folder by Shift + Mouse Right click

Connect your phone to PC.
Now paste this command on command window and hit enter to reboot your phone into bootloader (FASTBOOT) mode.

Guide To Fix Themes App On EMUI 5 After Unlocking Bootloader

Huawei launched EMUI 5 with their flagship device Mate 9 in 2016. This EMUI 5 comes with more new features and improvements lot of things. May android user want or love theme features on their device. Genarly theme changing features will not come with stock Android. If you want this features then need to install custom ROM, but EMUI is a non-custom ROM theme. EMUI 5 this comes with a good user interface also you can find many well-known themes in Huawei theme store. I used Huawei or Honor device last 3 years it’s pretty good, really I love EMUI interface. But some days ago I unlocked the bootloader on my Honor 8 then, after reboot all themes were gone. Then I find to fix this issue, at last, I found it and this wants to share with you. So today we share a guide to Fix Themes App on EMUI 5 after Unlocking Bootloader.

If you have faced this problem after unlocking bootloader for your Huawei or Honor device that runs on EMUI 5. The Huawei Theme App still show in the menu but all themes were gone. After theme download or put on the device when you apply them nothing happen. After unlocking the bootloader of your device a couple of essential elements removes that’s why this will happen. If you replace all files then it will fix this issue.

Prerequisite:

Unlock bootloader of your device.
Need root access on your device.
Download a file explorer that allows you to Access the whole of android’s file system.

Goto Settings > Apps > Themes > Storage and click the Clear Cache button.

Unlock Bootloader Guide=> How to Unlock Bootloader of Huawei Phones Official Method
Required Android 7.0 EMUI 5.1.
Enable developer options.

Go To Settings -> About Phone -> Tap On “Build Number” 7 Times To Enable Developer Options.

Enable USB Debugging.

Go To Your Settings -> Developer Options -> Tick The “Usb Debugging” Checkbox .

Enable OEM Unlock.

Go To Your Settings -> Developer Options -> Tick The“Oem Unlock” Check box

Install Huawei Driver Link->.
Download “adb-fastboot-tool-2016.zip” TWRP and latest magisk “Magisk-v1*.*.zip” file and “MagiskManager-v5.*.*.apk“.

Guide To Install Twrp 3.1 Recovery On Honor 9:-

1.) First Read Preparation, Unlock The Bootloader Download Required Files.

2.) Download “adb-fastboot-tool-2016.zip” unzip it Download TWRP recovery.

3.) Rename TWRP recovery IMG file “twrp-3.1.1-0-stf.img” to “recovery.img” and copy to adb-fastboot-tool-2016 Folder.

4.) Open cmd windows in adb-fastboot-tool-2016 folder by Shift + Mouse Right click.

5.) Connect your phone to PC.

6.) Now paste this command on command window and hit enter to reboot your phone into bootloader (FASTBOOT) mode.

adb reboot bootloader

7.) Flash TWRP recovery by this command.

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

8.) Reboot the device.

fastboot reboot

Now go to the root step.

Guide To Root Honor 9 EMUI 5.1:-

Note:- All phone data will erase backup your phone data before root

Take Boot.img backup From TWRP Recovery Backup Option before flash Magisk-v1*.*.zip.

Download latest magisk “Magisk-v1*.*.zip” and MagiskManager.apk copy it to the phone.
Install MagiskManager.apk, Don’t open.
Turn off your phone and turn on to recovery mode By Volume Up + Power.
Select Language English allow “Swipe to Allow Modifications” in TWRP recovery.
Go to Install Navigate to “Magisk-v1*.*.zip” Swipe to install.
Go To TWRP Recovery Wipe Option Wipe Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache.
Back to TWRP Main Menu go to Reboot then Select SYSTEM to reboot into Normal Mode (DO NOT INSTALL TWRP APP).
Open the MagiskManager app to get root access.

Restore Boot.img from TWRP Recovery if Navigation Key Not Working.

Go to your settings ⇒ Developer options ⇒ tick the “ usb debugging ” checkbox.

Enable OEM Unlock.

Go to your settings ⇒ Developer options ⇒ tick the“ OEM Unlock ” checkbox

Download “ADBFASTBOOT TOOL“, ” TWRP ”, ” SuperSu”

Unlock Bootloader Of Huawei Honor 7X:
Firstly create an account on this site HERE
Now go to Downloads–>>Unlock Bootloader Fill all the details in the form. Like s/n Number, IMEI, Product, and Model number.
Your unlock code will be shown the bottom of the page of the form. Save that code in Notepad or something else we will need that code for bootloader unlock.
Download all the files from downloads section below.

Steps To Unlock Bootloader:

1.) Download “adb-fastboot-tool-2016.zip” unzip it.

2.) Open cmd windows in adb-fastboot-tool-2016 folder by Shift + Mouse Right click.

3.) Connect your phone to PC.

4.) Now paste this command on command window and hit enter to reboot your phone into bootloader (fastboot) mode.

adb reboot bootloader

5.) Then type this command to unlock the bootloader.

fastboot oem unlock [unlock code]

Your device will have the bootloader unlocked. Refer below image, this type of warning will be shown once your bootloader is unlocked.

Guide To Install TWRP Recovery And Root Honor 7X:

1.) First Read Preparation Unlock Bootloader Download Required Files.

2.) Download “adb-fastboot-tool-2016.zip” unzip it Download TWRP recovery for your phone.

3.) Rename TWRP recovery IMG file “twrp.img” to “recovery.img” and copy to adb-fastboot-tool-2016 Folder.

4.) Open cmd windows in adb-fastboot-tool-2016 folder by Shift + Mouse Right click.

5.) Connect your phone to PC.

6.) Now paste this command on command window and hit enter to reboot your phone into bootloader (fastboot) mode.

adb reboot bootloader

7.) Flash TWRP recovery by this command.

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

8.) Reboot the device to recovery.

fastboot reboot

Now go to the root step.

Guide To Root Honor 7X:-

Download “SuperSu_2.82.Zip” copy it to the phone.
Turn off your phone and turn into recovery mode By Volume Down + Power.
Now Allow Modifications “Swipe to Allow Modifications” allow it.
Go to Install Navigate to SuperSu_2.82.Zip Swipe to install.
Reboot your phone.
